A: Start by tasting different varietals to understand your personal palette and taste preferences. Ask questions when you are in fine wine shops. Once you have an understanding of your preferences, ask retailers for their recommendations based on your likes. Always ask about the age-ability of wine to know how long to store it. You don't need to rush into purchasing, as it can be investment. First, determine your preferences and then buy.

Q: Do you have a varietal preference for weddings?
A: We love to attend events given by hosts who are willing to offer a variety of varietals, not just the standby selections. More and more we're seeing Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir, which guests love! It seems that more and more people are becoming hip to wine selection, which offers guests a greater selection and a more memorable entertaining experience.
